Aruna Dutt

PRODUCER/INTERVIEWS AND RESEARCH
Aruna is a recent Western University grad with an Honors Specialization in Media in the Public Interest and major in Global Development Studies. She received the CURL Fellowship from Huron College to research Precarious Work in London with LPRC over the summer, and is Co-Producer on LPRC's upcoming documentary on the topic. This September she will be entering the Masters in Journalism & Communications program at Western.​

Mike Roy

Mike is a recent graduate from the Media in the Public Interest program at Western. He has been a long time political and labour activist and specializes in capturing and telling stories relevant to everyday struggles through multi-media. 


Jennifer O'Brien

Interviews and Research/Screen Writing ​
Jennifer O'Brien is a London journalist and communications specialist with nearly 20 years experience in daily journalism. She was a daily reporter for the London Free Press for 16 years. Jennifer was the senior interviewer for the documentary and played key role as a screenwriter.

Fletcher Thompson

Music producer 
Fletcher Thompson has had a passion for Music since attending London’s Lester B Pearson School of Arts as a child. There, learning to play the upright bass and drums was the beginning of his varied experience with sound. Fletcher graduated from the H.B. Beal Broadcasting program and later spent over 5 years hosting his own radio show at Western’s CHRW 94.9fm and helped record and engineer CHRW’s LDN compilation album. He also graduated from London’s Ontario Institute of Audio Recoding Technology and has since furthered his journey in audio as a Film Audio Mixer, Editor, and his most enjoyable, Film Composer.

Michael Courey

Picture

Michael Courey is the coordinator at the London Poverty Research Centre at King’s. He considers his work to be largely about knowledge mobilization and community organizing to address issues of poverty. Michael is in the final stages of completing a PhD in Sociology in which he has focused on a broad range of topics working at the intersection of community economic development, alternative neighbourhood renewal, social movements, and identity formation.
